Courtesy call by Tofu Energy Power Company Ltd
Tofu Energy Power Company Limited paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of University of Benin, Benin city. Present at the event where the Vice Chancellor, Prof. FFO Oruwhense, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonyi, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Abiodun Falodun, Registrar, Mrs. A. O. Oshodin, Bursar, Dr. Baba Bila and Librarian, Mrs. Evelyn Omoluabi Idiodin and the Acting Director of Works.
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Company, Mr Tony Ideze introduced members of his team to the Vice Chancellor. They include; Engr. Obi, Mr. Prince Iyase, Gbadamosi Olailola, Mr Kunle Arole and Mrs. Ejibe Iruna. He thanked the VC for granting them audience and welcoming them into the university. He said they came to inform the VC that they have obtained a license from the necessary authorities to enable them kick start theUNIBEN Independent Electricity Distribution Power Plant meaning that from 1st Jan, 2017, the University of Benin will start to enjoy Uninterrupted Power supply across Campus. He also informed the VC that they came to survey the campus ahead of the project.
The CEO also introduced the representative of VIATHAN ENGINEERING, Mrs Iruna Ejibe to the Vice Chancellor. She informed the VC that VIATHAN wil be partnering TOFU Energy & Power company in ensuring the success of the project.
The VC welcome them all and thanked them for coming to kick-start the project today. He wished them success and urged them to meet with the Director of Works in case they need anything support.
