The screening of “No Where To Run: Nigeria’s climate and Environmental Crisis” which was displayed today 7th, December 2016 at the Akin Deko Main Auditorium with presence of the Vice chancellor, DVC Admin and academics, Dean of student,
Prof L.I Ezemonye- Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration University of Benin, Prof Tony Ogbeibu – Department of
Animal and Environmental Biology University of Benin and Mr Nninmo Bassey- Founder Health of Mother Foundation were Discussants in the program, Amara Nwankpa who Moderated the event made it colorful with his creative moderation.
The Vice Chancellor gave a brief citation of the film to be watched which he said it involved the present state of the society and finally welcomed guests.
The movie which was titled “No Where to Run” written by Late Kan- Sarowa was introduced by Musa Umuru, in his statement, he said the case at hand involves the society liquidation and environmental downfall and crises, the documentary was meant to educate students in other to take radical actions in facing the present society issues at hand.
The film started about 10.55am, with the auditorium full to capacity with students from various departments and some staff of University of Benin.
