The 2015/2016 President of the 14th Annual Student Technical Conference And Exhibition AZIBA HARRISON OSEYENDE Welcomes the audience with an opening speech about (STCE).
“Innovative soLutions to development of oil and gas field:an imperative for surviving low oil price challenge”. it aims at addressing the issue of the current trend of crude oil prices. he further acknowledge the presence of SPEi delegates,Nigeria Council delegates, Sections delegates, judges, Speakers,, Student Chapter representatives and host of others making it down.
Arrival and Registration of Participants across Nigeria, and invitees from other Student Chapter from Uganda, Ghana, Angola, Congo and South Africa. The PetroQuiz contest presents student chapter teams from Nigeria in a tournament-style contest that tests knowledge of Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Production, Drilling, Geology, General Sciences. E&P industry and SPE.
The Speaker introduces the VC to give his speech and declare the ceremony open, the VC represented by the DVC-Acad Prof, Abiodun Falodun spoke about the importance of Oil & Gas and its effect to our Economy today. he further encourages the members of council and students of SPE to get more involve in their studies and researches that will help our economy grow higher. The occasion went on as the Council chairman as called to give his speech for the day.
Engr. George Kalu is the current Technical Assistant to the Group Executive Director, Refinning and Technology of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
