The Management of the University of Benin wishes to inform all successful candidates who have been offered provisional admissions into the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session that the processing of acceptance has commenced.
All newly admitted candidates are advised to log onto the University Portal to process their admission and adhere strictly to the following instructions.
- Go to portal.uniben.edu and click on Login Menu
- Login with your User ID ( JAMB Reg. No ) and Password ( your password )
- You will be prompted to enter a valid email address: Enter your active personal email address to receive your Student ID and a new Password.
- Go to your email to retrieve your Student ID and Password and then click on the Login to Student Portal button.
- Use the Student ID and the new Password to login again.
- To begin your Clearance Process, click on ACADEMICS menu and then select CLEARANCE.
- To pay your Acceptance fee, use Bank Transfer Option on REMITA (Bank Debit Cards are non-functional)
- MAKE SURE YOU LOGOUT AND LOGIN AGAIN TO REFRESH YOUR PAYMENT STATUS
- After paying your Acceptance fee, proceed to fill your Clearance Form appropriately, and submit for approval.
This is to ensure a smooth and successful payment and clearance process.
