The Management of the University of Benin has approved that the Institution’s recently designed portal for payment of school charges be opened for all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, ie 100 Level and newly admitted 200 Level Direct Entry Students.
All affected students are to note that ONLY the approved portal link provided by the University should be used for the payment transaction, the details of which are provided below.
Students, Parents/Guardians and other Stakeholders are by this medium hereby informed that the University has consistently maintained the regime of school charges adopted in the previous sessions as applicable; hence, it has not effected any form of increase in the approved charges for all categories of students, including the current 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The details of the procedure for payment of school charges for the new students are as follows:
1. Go to portal.uniben.edu and click on Login Menu
2. Login with your User ID ( Student ID .) and Password ( your password )
3. To pay your School Charge, click on PAYMENT menu and then select SCHOOL CHARGES, under PAYMENT TYPE.
4. Then click on PROCESS PAYMENT Button
5. Follow the REMITA Payment instructions to conclude your payment.
