Prof. Kokunre Eghafona of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Benin has presented two copies of the book, titled: Women and Gender in Nigeria: A Reader, to the Centre for Gender Studies, University of Benin.
The book edited by Professors Irene Isoken Agunloye and Mary Modupe Kolawole was supported by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TetFund and has twenty chapters.
Professors Kokunre Eghafona and Oby Okolocha of the University of Benin contributed a chapter each.
The Director, Centre for Gender Studies, University of Benin, Prof. Adefunke T. Adekunle received the books on behalf of the Centre and appreciated Prof. Eghafona for her thoughtfulness.
The book, Women and Gender in Nigeria: A Reader, brings together essays by leading scholars who explore critical issues on women and gender in Nigeria.
