The Faculty of Law, University of Benin, is set to host the 2026 edition of the Prince Richard Oma Ahonaruogho Moot Court Competition, a prestigious legal advocacy event aimed at promoting excellence in legal education and courtroom practice among students.
The competition will take place from June 30 to July 2, 2026, beginning daily at 8:00 a.m., with participants expected to engage in simulated court proceedings that will test their legal research, argumentation, and advocacy skills.


The event will culminate in a Grand Finale on July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., where the best teams will compete for top honours.
Students, legal practitioners, members of the university community, and the general public are invited to attend and witness the display of legal brilliance and advocacy excellence.
