The Vice-Chancellor, University of Benin, Professor Lilian Salami, is advocating organised competitions among Centres or Departments of Entrepreneurship Studies in Universities in the country. She believes this will promote entrepreneurship development and enhance students’ skills.
Professor Salami gave the advice when students from the University of Benin’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development presented confectioneries, other finger foods and assorted beverages, produced by the students under the University’s Developmental Skills Course, to the Management.
Prof Salami, who praised the Students for the high quality of products, was happy that the University is empowering the students while moulding their character and intellect.
