Commemorating the 2024 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls and 16 days of Activism!
The Centre for Gender Studies, University of Benin, represented by Ehisumwen Eriamiantoe and Ifueko Ewere-Aguebor, participated in a road show rally in Benin City organized by the Edo State Ministry of Social Development and Gender Issues, with support from The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme.
The event brought together stakeholders from various NGOs, CSOs, and institutions to create awareness on GBV and the need to prevent it in our society.
Together, we amplified the message: NO to gender-based violence!
Let’s continue to advocate for a society where women and girls can live free from violence and discrimination.
