This is to inform all Academic Staff that the submission of applications for TETFund Scholarship under the Academic Staff Training and Development (AST&D) programme for the 2025/2026 academic session has commenced.
PROGRAMMES SUPPORTED UNDER THE AST&D:
A. Master Degrees
B. Doctorate Degrees
Please note that Master and Doctorate degrees are tenable in LOCAL Universities only. This is due to the recent suspension on all foreign scholarship sponsorship by TETFund.
REQUIREMENTS FOR TETFUND SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATION:
- Completed TETFUND Nomination Form (Download form from TETFund website)
- A valid Admission Letter to pursue a full-time programme of study as specified (Fees for the programme and date of the commencement of study must be clearly stated).
- Letter of Justification from the Head of Department, duly signed by Dean of the Faculty
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of Confirmation of Appointment
- Medical Fitness Report.
NOTE:
· A University of Benin E-mail address is mandatory.
· Applicants with admission into first and second generation universities in Nigeria will be given preferential consideration.
· Applicants are encouraged to visit the TETFund website for further information.
· APPLICATION FOR SPONSORSHIP DOES NOT COVER STAFF STUDYING IN THEIR UNIVERSITIES OF EMPLOYMENT.
· All submissions must be in hard and soft copies (Each document should be scanned separately in PDF format except the Passport Photograph that should be in Jpeg format).
· Submit all applications to the Committee on Tetfund/NUC-World Bank Centres of Excellence, Room 34, Vice Chancellor’s office, on or before February 28, 2025, with the Applicant’s Name, E-mail Address, Phone Number and Course of Study clearly written on the envelop.
