The Nigeria Economic Society (NES), Edo State Chapter, led by its Chairman, Dr. Francis Ilenloa Igberaese, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Professor Edoba B. Omoregie, SAN.
During the visit, the delegation expressed their appreciation to the Vice Chancellor for graciously granting them the use of the Senate Chamber for their recent public lecture held in honor of Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Bishop Matthew Okpebholo.
The vice chancellor, duly represented by one of his cabinet member professor Christopher c. Osubor ,welcomed the delegation warmly and expressed the University’s readiness to partner with NES in advancing economic scholarship and addressing developmental challenges in the region
The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the University of Benin and the NES Edo State Chapter, while also exploring avenues for further collaboration in promoting economic research and development in the state.
