Ahead of the upcoming second semester examinations, the Students’ Guidance and Counselling Centre conducted a comprehensive three-day campaign against examination malpractice. The primary objective of this initiative was to underscore the importance of maintaining the integrity of exams and the value of diligence. Additionally, the campaign aimed to encourage students to seek assistance from the Centre for any academic challenges they may face.

Commencing on January 7, 2024, at the Ugbowo Campus, the Centre’s staff, equipped with a public address system and banners bearing messages promoting honesty, hard work, and integrity, traversed through all the hostels and faculties. The campaign culminated on January 9th at the Ekehuan campus, where similar efforts were made to reach students in hostels, classrooms, and common pathways.

This sustained effort is expected to significantly diminish the temptation to engage in exam malpractice among the student body.
