The University of Benin community has received with great joy , communication of the full accreditation of the Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.
The news was conveyed to the Vice Chancellor in a letter by the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON); the professional and regulatory body for the programme.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edoba Omoregie, SAN, has congratulated the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, affirming his continuing support to all faculties in the University to ensure one hundred percent accreditation of all its programmes.
The Vice Chancellor said the latest achievement is testimony of Uniben’s position as a leading tertiary institution that is committed to administering cutting edge professional programmes in the country.
The full accreditation is for the period, 2024 to 2029.
