Following the successful completion of their summer programme in Geneva, Switzerland, under the University of Benin and the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) partnership, the Uniben students participants have returned to Nigeria.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Lilian Salami, expressed joy that the students, who joined their counterparts from across the world, did the University proud and were recognised specifically for their brilliant performances.
The Vice Chancellor said the success story of the UNIBEN/CERN partnership will not be complete without acknowledging the significant role played by the University’s Alumna and 1987 Law graduate, Mrs Faith Fookes.
She thanked Mrs Fookes and others who facilitated the programme, re-affirming her commitment to the training of globally competitive and relevant graduates. (PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PROTOCOL UNIT, 20/9/22)
