Introduction
The African Institute of Management and Leadership (AFRIMAL), University of Benin, is an initiative of the Senate of the University of Benin, under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Madam Vice Chancellor, Professor Lilian Imuetinyan Salami, Vice Chancellor, University of Benin. The Institute has its offices inside the main campus of the University at Ugbowo, Benin City, Edo State. The Institute was amongst others, set up to fill the yawning gap in management and leadership within the context of Africa with a view to promoting and enhancing good governance in various organisations by equipping them with relevant Africa focused management and leadership skills. In furtherance of this, the Institute shall be organizing a three-day management course on Committee Management.
