The University of Benin community is agog following news of the approval of funds by the Federal government for implementation of the Solar Minigrid Electricity Project for the University, alongside seven other federal government-owned universities across the country.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edoba Omoregie, SAN, was full of praise for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for fulfilling his promise of upscaling tertiary education in the country through targeted funding of pressing needs.
